Laguna Seca G82 DB Limits
Hello fellow G87 owners,
Has anyone been to Laguna Seca recently and been ok with the DB limits with a stock exhaust? Sports mode with the flaps open? Any input would be greatly appreciated as its a 90db limit day! Cheers |

Porsche GT3s with exhaust bypass valves and various Mustang/Camaro/Corvette v8s with non-factory exhausts could have problems and my Caterham R400 also exceeded the limit due to a short very free-flowing exhaust with a side exit (6dB variation, depending on which side was measured). |

This car is insanely quiet in the stock configuration. Switching to a single midpipes barely makes it loud enough.

I wired my exhaust flaps fully open and passed 90DB day at Laguna. My general pace is in the 1:40s and I had one or two laps 1:39, so I you'll be fine if your car is stock.
