Tire Lottery

I have read posts wherein people say they won the "tire lottery" when they took delivery of their car. As people begin to pick up their MY 2024 G42 I would be curious as to what tires came with their car. Thanks.

Mine came with Bridgestones.

Did you do the staggered setup? Performance non-runflat tires?

I goofed on my order out of ignorance. The Temple dealer recommended I do the all-season tires which I did not know at the time would land me a square 225/40R19 setup all around with runflats. We'll see what I end up with.

You mean a lottery in terms of which brand you get?

Seems most people prefer the non-run flats.

I will very likely be ordering the performance non-run flats

Totally different kind of tires compared to all-season run flats in terms of grip offered.

It's not a tire lottery, different wheel setups you select when ordering the car come with different tires.

Unless your dealer didn't ask and just picked one for you.

Interesting! I might go for a * version when I will buy PS4S for my aftermarket set of wheels!

I think tire lottery is regarding m2s and not g42s. From what I have seen, it’s strictly based on the tire choice that determines the brand of tire you will receive for g42s.
