xHP - a great mod.

Just wondering who else is using xHP. If so, what settings are you using? I've been using xHP for the last couple weeks and find it an excellent mod. I rarely ran in D mode because it was too tame for my taste. Now D, with increased shift points and 1st gear locked out, is worthwhile for daily driving and S is even more like what I'd run in M mode. The extra sound during spirited driving is nice too.

Glad you like it, I tried it for a week or so and removed it; it just was not the right mod for me.

That said, its a very popular option and lots of customers like it

When you are already in a G82, I can't see alot improvement.

These are the only custom settings I am using. Even quicker shift, plus sounds awesome with the AA Dp & MPE exhaust.

Stage 3
Ignition Cut Shift
2500rpm, 200Nm

Throttle Blips
2-1: +10
3-2: +15
4-3: +20
5-4: +25
6-5: +25
7-6: +25
8-7: +25

Torque Limit Per Gear (XHP removed stock limit of 550, with no limit at all)
Not that stock it can produce enough power to damage the trans, but set to 700 Nm the lower end of what is the Safe Max

xHP is great street driving and essential for those making high power.

Since we're an official xHP flash facility, what's great is that you can try different flashes to see what you like before choosing a specific stage.

it's very popular with the G82 as well; I just didn't like the jerkiness of the transmission at low speed. it reminds me of my F82 M4 DCT, and I hated it.

The XHP Flash will offer you better times with a tuned car, but since the M4 comes already at 500 hp and I got it tuned with E85, im already making a lot of power.

I chose to leave some power on the table, in return for a more enjoyable drive.

That said, the results are different with each car / transmission, you should try it and see if you like it

I am thrilled with XHP in my X3M. So far, I was underwhelmed with it in the G42 and removed it. I will try it again later one more time to just confirm. My 1/4 mile times were slower by 2 tenths but it was a very humid night. I will try it again with a better DA for a more positive verdict.
