Preview photos of Eisenmann’s new X6 35i exhaust system!
To enter the 2010 year, Eisenmann has made a new commitment to improving their new exhaust systems: every new Eisenmann system produced will feature full bolt on installation, with at minimum cat back piping. Eisenmann’s new X6 35i exhaust system is no different, as this exhaust bolts on directly at the OEM downpipes! Coupled with aftermarket downpipes, you could have a full turbo back exhaust system, with all of the power gains associated. Although this exhaust is only a prototype system, the amazing offset chamfered Eisenmann tips are already coming into shape, and despite some weld marks that won’t be seen on the production system, you can already see that they are beautiful. This system will of course also feature Sport and Race sound levels, and Eisenmann’s hand build construction. Also on the design table is Eisenmann’s new X6M, so watch for photos of the development system soon!

and I'm pretty sure thats the better version/upgrade from stock engine May be they leave rooms for modification? Since each consumer has different pref? I guess? As for the louis vuitton example... I don't think you can compare cars to bags... However, changing exhaust can be seen as engraving your name onto louis vuitton bag which... creates individuality... however, some, probably want to stay dull and boring

Manufacturers usually have more restrictions when designing the car than after market ones. Also they should take care of marketing as well. I believe there is always room for improvements let alone customizations. BMW itself released power upgrades for this car!
Misterschaft Exhaust already sounded pretty sweet on X5. Looking forward to hear the sound of this one on 35i Last edited by watoowatoo; 11-09-2009 at 01:46 AM.. |

Atrosis,
You have no knowledge of cars... You have understanding, perhaps, of what you are spending your money on. However, if you are gonna rant about the mechanical superiority of stock BMW exhaust, you minus well just skip over these threads and move along. Your opinion is noted. If you have ever removed a stock BMW exhaust and seen the amount of unnecessary bends and restrictions throughout the exhaust, you would never make such an ignorant comment about it. I had said earlier that I owned a heavily modified 335i. I derived a ton of pleasure from modifying and driving that car. And it didn't have a sub or racing stripes or fart can exhaust. It's people like yourself who would rather turn their nose up at people like myself than see it for what it is. An extension of the options process that every owner of every car goes through when personalizing an automobile. Every mod I put on my previous car had a very specific reason. I have pages of data which shows the ineptness of the I/C and O/C (Intercooler and Oilcooler) of the N54..(N54 by the way is the engine code on the 35i). They are even more lacking at higher HP levels. Exhaust does more than make sounds and emit C02. Imagine you breath in through the air box and exhale through your exhaust. The car can only breathe as fast as it exhales. Therefore, the less restriction your exhaust has the more air can be inducted, resulting in more HP. I only explain this because you tried to compare putting exhaust on a car to.. buying a knock off louis vutton bag. Go get some sleep.. |

if you find the best aftermarket pipe to put on, you won't miss your "scientific" stock one.
The good pipe makes the X6 more interesting from far away. The stock pipe is great but it's simple so quiet. We need some sound like Harley Davison or Honda CBR. |

I read over the article on the Eisenmann exhaust factory tour, checked out their pics & browsed the IND site and have concluded they are a top notch distributor.

looks not bad. I know why the pipes points to the sides, they have no room inside for quad pipes. What do you think about the look? I'd say it's ok.
Can't wait about the sound clip. |
