18" 796M with 33T big brakes

Got my winter setup on a deal from dealer and wheels fitting the bigger brakes is a popular topic so here's some pics.

The folks that like stance, spacers, wide, poke etc won't like them but I'm more focussed on safety and cost for winter, pleased with these and I like keeping OEM.

This package from BMW used to be sottozeros but is now Conti 860S*.
I had a variant on my golf R and was very happy with them so works for me.

This is a square setup with 7.5J width and 225/45 all round and the internal geometry clears the 33T brakes, not by a lot, but it does.

Extra sidewall takes the edge of the few bad local roads I was on today but not soft by any stretch.

Closest similar pic with 893's

Yep same here with the 18" 796M Matte Blacks (36-11-5-A23-FE1). They're RIGHT there on the M Sport brakes and snug AF.
