Do You Think Auto Crime Up or Down?

Just wondering if you feel there have been more auto related crimes in your area.

There has been an increase of thieves breaking glass and searching compartments in my area. I'm wondering if it's universal. Moreover, people have been posting how their wheels are being stolen overnight.

Feel free to tell us if you feel crime is going up or down along with a story.

I am mainly surprised is that it is not any worse. Yet.

What was a hobby for some is turning into a full-time career. It's only a 328i, but I won't drive the BMW into any area that's even a little sketchy. I'll take one of the trucks.

I've been hearing a lot from cops that smash and grabs are on the rise (Ipods, Cell Phones, Nav, Radar, etc - and no they are not in plain sight but in the glove box which is popped open with a screw driver). They even arrested a guy that was prowling the neighborhood looking for unlocked cars.....
