Gorgeous CF rear spoiler - easy DIY

The exterior upgrades on the M2 just continue with a fabulous "chibin fiber" rear spoiler from Kies Motorsports!

The oem spoiler really is silly, and adds almost nothing to the car. This CF piece fits the car perfectly!

Those of you with matte paint, how are you removing the stock spoiler? The eraser used on the drill seems really risky for matte paint. We don't have the option of simply buffing out any scuff marks.

Blow dryer? Chemical solution like smudge remover?

Easy. Matte paint is actually stronger than traditional clear coat.

I just did this using the wheel and a lot of goo-gone. It sucked and took a while, but the car didn’t have a single scratch or mark on it. I masked all around the stock spoiler/lip.
