Yeah, I know yours did and a couple others I believe but we all know that is unusual and not the norm (at least in this day and age). I got my allocation last Thursday and still at 112 (which I am expecting to be for another week or two but will be ecstatic if its sooner). My M240 took about 3 weeks last year. |

I just placed my order with a dealership in Southeastern PA and number 14 in line. Was told that they get about an allocation a month and mine is likely going to be a 2025 model year (late summer/fall 2024). Prior to putting the deposit down, I called a few other dealerships and the wait was pretty similar.
In a way, I think the added wait time will work out well. I am hoping that in the next two years, they will make individual paint a selectable option. Would love to go Thundernight Metallic again, or even Dakar Yellow (yes, very old school). Has anyone else inquired about individual paint, or have inside information regarding availability? |

It was a build error on the part of BMW. For 99% of people it probably would not have mattered. LOL |

Quick question for you guys. This is my first time ordering a BMW - or any car for that matter. What’s a reasonable time to have an email responded to by your sales reps? I easily have 3-5 day turn around and it’s pretty frustrating. I’m also constantly double checking the answers and usually they’re subpar and incorrect. Is it wrong to ask for a new sales rep at this point, or is this the usual? I’m status 112. Thanks

They should be answering emails same say ir at the very latest, next day. Their answers should be accurate if they are a good CA. Maybe you should reach out to the sales manager to discuss your concerns. Just an fyi, I have my CA's and SM's cells and I can text or email with them. As you are at 112, your CA should be providing you with updates as the car moves along. With that being said, you can always track it yourself or call BMW NA/genius line and they can provide you with updates or answer your questions. |

It took 3 emails and 3 weeks to get the M performance parts list (yea I know it’s online). I also found out via my own tracking that my build was delayed and was never informed by the sales rep. Currently has been 4 days since trying to confirm accuracy with adding M performance parts to port install. |

YIbwould go to the sales manager and maybe even voice your displeasure with NA. ou can easily find out if the M Performance parts were added, login at bmwusa.com and go to your garage and track stage (you will see at the stage it is at) and click added option dropdown and it will show you. |

I think it’s smart business and the decent think to do on our CA’s part. Encouraging and fostering good communication, especially with ours cars that have such a limited supply and lengthy timeframe from deposit to driveway, makes for a long term relationship in my book. |

email? I'm dropping over 70 grand, I expect texting and I expect a response within 24 hrs, even if the response is "no news yet."
To be fair, my CA is enthusiastic, texts me screenshots of DCS, answers all my questions. She's been great. If I had a CA that only responded by email after a week, I'd get another CA. Plenty willing to compete for your business. |

Well being dumb paid off for the buyer, she was able to reorder another M2 @ below MSRP (Not much), but given the fact they originally were charging her a 5K over MSRP, she is saving about 6k. That said they worked with BMW corporate and will have the car build expedited, we shall see.
