UK dealer allocations

I’m in the UK ordered the M2 in October. Was told May 2023 delivery. Got a call today and looking at September! Anyone else getting similar updates?

Yikes! Did they provide any reasoning as to why?

Just that all M2 orders are being pushed back apparently. Not the best when production started last month. Not sure how they are this far behind already.

Ordered mid October, estimated delivery was May 2023. Since been told build date June 2023 with delivery August 2023.

yesterday was told between July to September "provisionally" but likely the latter if not longer. i cancelled as i will just wait for the LCI since i am not in any rush but look forward to people getting theirs.

I also ordered October, had a provisional delivery date of May and have now slipped back to September. I’m going to stick with my order for now, but am anticipating more delays. Hopefully it’s not going to move out too much more

In an ideal world some reviews will be out before I have to confirm my build. No idea if that will happen, but would be good to see any thoughts on the M highlight seats before I add them to my build.

The UK launch date isn’t until May so I’m not surprised that UK customers cars won’t be ready for then. May was an estimated date anyway so to be told August delivery was no great surprise.

For those of you that are #3-4 I could see you receiving your G87 in the timeframe that the OP has mentioned, barring any delays. I am curious as to what # OP is? If they are in the #3 range that makes total sense given what they have been told. Truthful I do not foresee a #3 allocation getting their G87 in June-August 2023. Regardless of your geographical location. Not happening…

I have a confirmed prod date of 26th Feb in AU prior to these delays. Delivery May/June. I'm #3 on the list.. have reached out to the dealer to confirm any delays. Stay tuned.

I ordered on the 12th Oct, I'm first in line and I have an August build slot, so with shipping, I can't see me seeing it until October at the earliest in the UK, so a years wait, pretty disappointed, but what can you do. Might need to look at another option.

I was first with my order. Told it's would be May. Now it seems march April build and delivery may be August.. who knows. Can't wait !

I ordered in October 22, I’m apparently 1st at my dealer. I had an online chat with BMW the other day, build “scheduled” for w/c April 4th. Delivery might be early June.
