when people aren't using a heavily fish-eyed camera lens to film the car, it looks great. 90% of the videos I see are using a fisheye that skews the bodylines of the car and then people complain that it looks like garbage. Same issue with the G80 M3, most pics and videos make it look horrible until you see it in real life (or with a good lens) and it looks incredible.

I must admit I am concerned that the radiator seems to be right there and with zero protection. Or is there a clear mesh infront of it ?

There's a black plastic protector directly in front of the radiator.

Well, it's not just the $$$ that's annoying. If you've ever seen instructions or videos on how to replace those, they are a real PIA. I'm not going to touch it, not worth the effort. Just bothers me that it's not in CF.

I misspoke. $330, not $300.

I did not post the following, but it was definitely previously posted. I believe ‘Game’ originally posted it?

Option code Z8O = MP Carbon Antenna - $330.00

Was the other one the HAS suspension? They purposely left a gap and then offered us the option to fix it.

Yeah it's not a bad looking car and overall looks very agressive. I'm even beginning to warm up to the rear which I thought was always the most 'yikes' part of the car.

No clue when I'll get to see one in person.

ZB though ... I don't know if I'll ever warm up to it.

No, #2 is the CF roof. There is no port installed HAS. I'm likely going to install it myself for two reasons. Saves me $$$ and I don't trust a dealership to do it because I've seen them use impact wrenches to loosen and then retighten the strut/shock nut because technicians are either lazy or were taught to do it incorrectly. It spins the shaft and damages the internals of the struts/shocks which then leads to having premature blown struts/shocks. Adaptive struts/shocks are pricey to replace. I always use hand tools and hold the shaft (insert joke), so it doesn't turn while I loosen the nut (insert joke #2) or put it back on.

The HAS can be port installed, my CA let me know when he emailed me about my allocation on Saturday. It's on my build right now. It's option z58.

What in the funky bunch is this? BMWBLOG just did an interview last week with BMW M and they said they were not doing it. Can you share more details on this?

That price is inclusive of installion? The fine print says no but I tend to trust what you say for some reason.

Question two, up to what point do I have to request port options?

Port installed is exactly that. Installed at the VPC. You spec your build with port installed options just as you would with factory options. Speak with your CA, he/she will know what to do.

Yeah I understand that, thanks. I was asking about the pricing, if you get it done at the port there is no additional install but if you got it done later at the dealer there would be installation labor charges? The fine print was confusing to me, that’s why I’m asking for clarification.

Do you roughly know of the cutoff timeframe for adding Port options (for example, does it have to be ordered before it leaves the boat at the VPC)?
