I understand that all UK bound cars get offloaded for PDI at Bremerhaven and then get shipped to the Uk- not sure if by road or ship.

This is also my understanding. I am in Germany. Spoke with my sales agent earlier this week and he told me my M2 is in Bremerhaven, but could not (or would not) confirm a delivery date. My sales team here has been nothing but professional with clear and transparent communication to me. So I think he would not give me the expected delivery date because he didn’t want to give me a false expectation. He did confirm for me that I could receive delivery anytime between next week and the first week in July.

My dealership does all PDI’s on site and not at Southampton or at Bremerhaven

He seems pretty adamant of this

Just been down to Vines in Guildford, they’ve just today taken delivery of their Zandvoort demo. It’s the first time I’ve seen one outside (only seen the two inside at Farnborough up to now) and the blue looks superb in the sunshine! Still happy I went with Brooklyn though.

That means it’s a week earlier than expexted (but still 3 weeks later than originally planned), and got from Southampton to Guildford in 8 days, whatever that means.

My numbers on my sales guy’s screen are the same as yours Giggsy, but mine’s still due for delivery to the dealer w/c 19/6. So to summarise, who knows?

Called into the dealers this morn and was informed my car (with correct interior) had arrived.

They car looks way better in the flesh and I was pleasantly surprised on how nice it looks, it’s pretty wide and the wide hips and shoulders really do set the car off.

It’s wearing the standard bmw badges and not the heritage so I’ll get the dealer to order me the badges.

Unfortunately i won’t be able to collect until the end of the month as I’m away this week.

Ppf — spacers - springs to lower are on the list of things to do as soon as I take delivery.

Looks great. Can I ask what status code you were on when you became aware it was at the dealer. I think there is a lag in the system so BMW Genius isn’t always up to date.

My original car was 165 and was at sea and lands week commencing 19th June, it had the wrong interior fitted due to an internal IT issue with the configurator.

So Bmw Uk instructed the dealership to let me have there car that was going to be there demo, it also has an additional pack on top of my order.

Having seen one in the flesh today - it looks great 🥰so mean, it’s going to be a very long 3 months waiting for my to arrive and the ZB does look at lot better in the flesh - not for me though think will be too much upkeep, but can deffo see why peeps have ordered this colour - you will certainly stand out from the crowd for sure 🥰I also saw a TR in a M3 and very pleased I liked it, as I had a slight concern when BMW salesman had said it’s orangey - but in the flesh I didn’t think so 😮‍💨

I did swop from TR to Brooklyn, my concern was the orange effect, in some light it looked more orange and motechs m4 in TR is deffo more orange having seen it, shame they never did imola red, m3 comp in imola red at the dealers this morn and looked really nice against the gloss black. I think the m2 in the black looks stunning, tho black is too hard to keep clean.

This is the first uk spec car I have seen that isn’t in BSM. Configurator said they would have black mirrors and rear lip spoiler, but looks like they will be body colour. Not a big deal to me, but is there any other differences from the configurator that people have spotted?

As well of for now, depending if i like the m2 enough to part company with the x3, i swopped out the oe suspension for kw adaptive coilovers and its now so good its hard to part with it, my wife is scared to drive it, "its too Big" i wish... strangely having seen the m2 its wide, tho she likes it so hopefully ill get her behind the wheel.

Nope, nothing. The car is currently on a round the world cruise (or at least it would appear given it's taking the VERY long route from Bremerhaven to Southampton) - if the constant 195 status is to be believed.

The dealer has put in a request to BMW UK to try to establish the whereabouts of the car but is still confident that I'll be taking delivery on Saturday.

When I contact what feels like my extended family in the Genius chat staff they acknowledge that the delivery date has been missed but can't offer an alternative!
