They wanted to triple confirm there would be no manual CS/CSL first.

They'll put any new M2 info on the front page now. Nothing new to see here compared to what we saw months ago. Plus, auto car is known for speculation without anything to back it up

do we know at this stage if it will be available in another other interior color than boring black? I know it is superficial and the driving experience is what matters, but I can't see myself spending that much money on such a sad interior.

Same, particularly in comparison to the much needed updates the G8x got compared to the prior gen.

If I was in the market for an M4, I'd serious look at this instead.

We were all sort of bummed to hear we won't have the same choices as the G8x. All we know so far is we're getting black and cognac.

Cognac is a start. I'd love a green/cognac combo if that's available. Thundernight/cognac would also do.

Interesting that license plate promoting Russian website. I though Russians and Germany were not friends right now. Yet they somehow got the car?

It's not superficial, I too am annoyed by the limited interior and exterior customization on offer on baby M cars, having had the 1M and M2 F87. With that kind of money, it's something I pay attention to (in Europe we are in the 80k zone).
I hope Bmw has done something better this time, although the ID8 is a deal breaker for me.

Depends if back seat is any sort of priority for anyone shopping an M4.

M4 is easily 4 adults as long as not too many are 6'2 plus.

Back of the new G series 2 is quite a different proposition from the F series. I had a 235i and M2 (same size of course) and it was zero compromise for a family of 4.

I'm not so sure this time around.

Are you saying that the G87 would not be suitable for a family of four? Myself and my wife have two young children, 5 & 9 years old and hoping the keep the car for around 8 years.

I seriously hope it doesn't look like that because that would be a huge downgrade compared to the F87, especially the Competition version.

So they could've gone lightweight according to the video...
instead they porked it up even more and just stuffed more power into it.
Please end the horsepower wars.

Best try a G42 2 series. The rear definitely has a little less room than the outgoing model. (IMO definitely best try for yourself if possible).

I'd say you're in 'peak' coupe family size, they're not tall teenagers yet and also don't need car seats and buckles sorting out by you.

I'd say all good go for it but if possible check a G42 to see the space.
