I got Yoko Advan V107s on my G87

Howdy! Just took delivery of my G87. Turns out I got the Yoko Advan 107s on my stock 19/20" wheel set up.

Curious if anyone else got these & how they've worked for you. So far, I like how quiet they are. Ride seems very nice & while I haven't given the car anywhere near the full beans, I can say I've taken some ummm.. spirited curves & street grip is definitely nice.

First time I'm hearing of anyone getting Yokohamas on their G87 from the factory. That's interesting.

definitely strange. do they have stars on them by any chance?

years ago i had yoko advans on my 6 speed mazda6. i think i was at the wear bars in under 10k miles...

Yup...I had them on my S3. They handled really well under dry condition, not quite as good as PS4Ss under wet conditions but absolutely wore out faster on South Florida driving.

Howdy! Yepper - they actually have stars on them. I was surprised by this as well.

The Star Spec Advan V107s have been the offering on the optional 20/21” ///M G80/81/82/87 wheel package.

Yesterday I saw a newly delivered, freshly PDI'd M2 waiting for customer pickup and it had Yokos on it.

I really hope my '25 gets the Michelins.

I had some Advan Sport years ago I put on my old G35 and they were surprisingly great. I would rather have the Yokos than the Pirellis probably.

Never ran Yoks on any vehicle. Will you keep or swap? Make dealer do it?

Dealer would sell a complete set of tyres, but I don't see any reason why they would swap them for anything else for free. There is nothing other than size, speed rating and tyre type that BMW specifies on the car, nothing related to manufacturer they will use.

I am gonna keep as my track day wheel/tire set up. I am not a super skilled driver, just like having fun on the small autocross tracks. So I doubt I will be pushing these anywhere near their limit.

Yes, the Yoko’s came with my 1000M’s when I placed my order with BMW.
I like them, they work.

I agree - I like 'em. Nice ride, quiet, sticky. Nice lookin' sidewalls, too. Haven't tracked 'em, but not like I am a track monster & would likely notice any diff between these & the Michelins.

I have owned Mich PSS, Mich PS4S, Continental SportContact Extremes and now these Yokos. The car still in the breakin period but I have to say extremely sharp response. I don't know if its the car or the tires. However, turnin with these tires are extremely sharp.

The only problem is the 240 wear rating vs. the others 300. Although it's hard to compare specs with different manufacturers.

My car also came with the Yoko with a "star" on them. Interesting to see that I CANNOT find these same tires on Tire Rack listed as OEM. Tire Rack not up to date on this maybe?

Yup, that is my bet. I noticed the same thing - and they carry BMW starred brands by other mfrs.
