How do you like the intakes? It might be the next thing I do... What made you go with downpipes vs axel back?

Love them so far. Added a ton of sound and the first G87 I’ve seen w them on. Gotten a bunch of compliments over the last 2 days driving around.

For exhaust, I had the single midpipe already so was going to either do axleback or downpipes, I think both is too much. Straight pipe sounds bad on these cars.
Catless dps are significantly cheaper than an axleback, and I think overall a better more aggressive sound. And adds a little bump in power. The stock axleback with this setup does a really good job of cutting drone and keeping it quiet with the valves closed. So I’m going to keep it like this and paint the axleback black.

How did you address the CEL? Bimmercode, or did the JB4 take care of that?

I have the AA Single, and while it did a great job with the sound, I would love a little more. My "performance" parts list is basically everything you have done already, so thank you for that, haha.

I’m running Valvetronic midpipe and AA catted downpipes, and valve controller. Sounds damn good as well.
Need to get some clips for posterity.
Did you have to deal with a CEL?

No CEL yet. I got one of the BigDaddiesGarage minicat spacers, but at the time forgot there are two down pipes on this car 🤣
So I have one spacer… and haven’t seen CEL yet. Ordered another to add on the other O2 sensor but unsure if it will fit. There is limited room and the extra length might hit against the block.

I just added the minicats to my Google sheet, as I assumed that might have been what you used! I'm glad to hear it's working out; I think my state does an OBD2 scan, so emission wise I should be G2G if everything reads ready.

No but I don't have an inspection sticker anyway

They wouldn't give me the new car 5 year one bc they said I had to cut out a square of my tint first. So I decided I no longer care about having one

Were there any issues with the PPF as you installed the lips around the car? Did you also have those pieces wrapped?

Did you install the pieces yourself or took to a body or other shop?

How was the catless setup been working out? Thinking of following in your footsteps soon with the catless downpipes, intake, JB4 recipe.

CT Carbon quality

How does the CT Carbon quality compare to those from TRE and MHC?

I would say it's on par with both.

Been great so far, sounds awesome. I haven't had any catless dp codes since I have the mini-cats spacers, however sometimes if I restart the car while warm, I'll get a wastegate & coldstart code and car will go into limp mode. If I wipe the codes it goes back to normal and doesn't come back. Drives fine and doesn't occur while driving. But something happens with the coldstart procedure when the car is already warm. Kind of odd

That rear diffuser is the nicest one I've seen. The piece that wraps around & under the sides is real nice. Aggressive, sharp without being overdone or "transformers-y".

I'm gonna hate copying your stuff... the one I ordered is BSM, too. I'll probably do gold or bronze wheels at least, so I won't copy you too closely.

Agreed! Waited a while for a decent diffuser to come out. The first 4-5 that were released are either too subtle or overdone. This one is perfect IMO... or the Alpha-N w/ undertray probably looks the best but not paying $4-5k for a diffuser lol.

All good, mod your car how you like! Don't let me hold you back lol. It's not like we live in the same neighborhood
