672 with an unlocked ECU/tune, down pipes, filters, and gas? Impressive.

Jeez. How much difference in gains is there with that race gas compared to 91/93 pump gas?
Edit: nevermind, it shows numbers for 93 in the video.

Having come from the Mustang world I have an idea of what it costs to boost a Gen 3 Coyote to 675* WHP. What would the cost to do this be? 4K??

Love seeing modifications.
But I don’t know what they were smoking lol redefining terms is the name of the game. Since when did Stage 2 become Stage 1… car has bolt-ons, aggressive tuning, race fuel, but “it’s stage 1”. They’ll quickly find out their “Stage 2” is just a refined tune with another 10hp… or maybe stage 2 is an LS swap or a big turbo. Good stuff nonetheless, impressive what fuel can do when timing is advanced. |

I don't see why you wouldn't want to use E. It's so much more cost effective than buying race fuel. Which also is harder to get. Quote:
104 race fuel is 672 Quote:

It's actually stage 2. They have a downpipe. This is an S58. Been tried and true to make monster power with a tune and downpipe with E40. 500+ with pump gas and 6-700+ with e40. |

Wasnt gonna bring it up but since you did, agree. Big turbo with E would be stage 3. |

My interpretation is Stage 1: tune down pipes 91-93 Stage 2: hot tune* dp and fueling upgrades Stage 3: all of the above + turbos |

No, not true. If running a "flex" fuel (some blend of E) on stock fuel system of the BM3 add on, that is still stage 2 (the BM3 bolt on is not upgradingthe fuel system). If you run full E85 and dont upgrade for it, you will have a mess on your hands. Big turbo, E85, fuel system, pumps, rail, port injectors, manifold, etc would be stage 3. |

But to my knowledge a stage 1 car only had a tune and perhaps some bolt ons to support the increased heat (like larger intercoolers). Stage 2 is all bolt ons including down pipe (by definition, the car in the OP) Above that I don’t even know, but if you swap turbos and swap internals, is it even stage 2 anymore. And if stage 1 requires all of those in the OP, what do we call a tune with air intake and exhaust now? Stage 0? |

Continue to call tuned cars stage 0, that’s ok. I’ll continue to call them stage 1. Hope you are happy you won an internet battle you created by disagreeing with someone’s opinion. cheers man |

That’s not what you said at all, but all good; hey we have more in agreement than in disagreement (perhaps we don’t even disagree at all). Just thought it was interesting they call this Stage 1 but it’s probably some BS to debate over anyway, my car being stage 5 with the decals and snow socks anyway…
