When did you do that? Because this answer has been a lie since March.

There’s a March update and now there’s a July update.
If you have an issue, they should update it to resolve it. They’re lying so they don’t do the work. Simple.

No OTA yet either which is annoying.

Mine has been updated by the dealer. OTA updates are released much later than when they become available to the dealer to update via ISTA.

Mine was on the same version as yours. Had it updated because of a “recall” (digital key, SMH). I had it done just before the July version became available, so mine is not the newest.

However, I never had an issue with GPS, with the old or current version.

I had this issue and then realized it was my iphone and not the car.

I went into cellular settings and found my data roaming was turned off. Turned it back on and have never had the issue again.

Maybe this helps a few of you.

I still have this issue intermittently in my M2, always at the worst possible time.

Thankfully the BMW nav still works.

Which version of Idrive are you running? Have you tried going to the dealer?

I have been experiencing nav issues, where it shows my car on the map in the middle of a field or on an entirely different road. I rarely use navigation but today I actually needed it and it acted up and almost made me late for a meeting.

Has this enabling roaming data setting resolved your issue? I’m hoping it’s this simple. My roaming data was disabled when I had the nav issue today.

Edit: My car still has the issue after enabling roaming. This is very annoying, please let me know if someone knows of a fix. It looks like BMW nav still works fine.

Just happened to my 2023 M240i today. It had been flawless for the last 3 weeks since delivery. I’ve tried numerous fixes from this group and others and cannot get it to work. Cars nav location is fine on its maps, phones maps in all apps is flawless alone, connected though CarPlay is way off and it also records that location in the MyBMW app as the final parking location.

How many of you have used BimmerCode? A possible coralation?

According to the BMW the latest software released early Aug. 2023 should fix this issue
