Did this show up for you guys today as well, or is it just a coincidence I brought the car in for service and they scanned the fob at check-in?

I received no notice on the car's infotainment screen. I will check my app.

If you have synced your car to your BMW app and are logged in, you should be able to see anytime there is an available software update.

I logged into the MyBMW App and it says I'm on 11/2022.44 and "The software of your BMW M2 is up to date." - is this an American thing?

Didn't get it (also in Canada). But then, my car hasn't been updating in connecteddrive since the 10th for some reason.

Update download was in progress when I got in the car this afternoon. Completed the "wait 20 mins" install phase while shopping in Safeway:

Process is a bit clunky but I got it figured out. Car is updating now ETA 20 min.

I hope this is not too frequent an endeavor.

Yeah got the same update today as well. Must be only a Canadian update. Was really hoping the climate screen was going to be upgraded to be same as the 8.5 lol

I actually got an “update complete” notification on the app when walking around the supermarket, about 15 mins after the install started. I left the car at “Updating……3%”. When I locked it to go into the supermarket, there was no visual or audio lock confirmation, but the locks did activate.

As it indicated in the update notes, the speech recognition keyword(s) need to be reactivated in the settings, if you use “Hi BMW” or similar.

I’m still on 11/2022.44 too.
