But yeah, that’s it for new features you can “feel”. If the 2 second delay to choose M1/M2 bothered you, it’s now gone.

On a side note what interior do you have on your Toronto red? I got the cognac and my jeans have been rubbing off on the leather…. Which has never happened. I had ivory white Dakota leather previously with no transfer.

It wipes off with leather cleaner just weird to me.

I got that one months ago, apparently the US is the last to get it.

The dealers have the 11/2023 update, it has to be done via ISTA connected to the car by them. We’re expecting it to roll out to us via OTA in March (despite a claim to the contrary here).

You’d only notice a change if your M1/M2 disabled traction control.

I’m so vanilla with this car that I have never even turned the DSC off… shit I barely put it into sport mode where it changes the tach and shit. Am I pathetic? My daily is an m550. She just drives.

Oh no… I remember a brown interior that had some jeans stains on the X3, but it was dark.
My car has black seats (with the M colour highlights) so I don’t see anything. But black is boring right (I come from a white 135i with red seats).

You’re missing out! MDM is where it’s at. My M1 turns it on and that’s how I normally drive.

My m2 setting turns everything on… and I just realized that it actually makes the exhaust sound meaner too lol

I understand that. Someone posted that after this update they lost the ability to recode certain features. Did you experience that?

I don’t believe anyone has updated to 11/2023 yet to provide that type of feedback of lost coding.

If car was made when that software is latest then obviously it will come with that software. Sometimes by th car gets to you there may be another update and the dealer installs the most current pre delivery.
Others may not get 11/23 for months as a downloadable upgrade 😀

I also got a message about the newest version is ready to be installed.
Can I chose to prevent auto update from happening. ? I went through the manual last evening and see a fair amount of info about the auto updates but no reference to delay or prevent the install.... I do have a piggy-back tune and do not want to have an issue....

That update was a pain in the ass and there were no release notes.

I had to drive around for an hour while it copied from my phone (it gave up and restarted after about 40 mins). Then it messed up CarPlay and I had to reset iDrive and re-pair my phone.

Oh and I just realized the app still shows an update pending so now I'm not even sure if it installed 🫠
