BimmerCode coding issue

I tried to code auto/start stop off, 5 times turn signals and no hazard lights on harsh braking and none of the changes have worked. I used the same process as I have done with my F87 and Bimmerocde showed a successfull coding message but once disconnected, the coded changes weren’t there. Has anyone else had the same? Maybe BMW have found a way to stop aftermarket coding on the latest cars?

Just to make sure you turned the car off and back on before checking for the changes?

Did you code from the M2 or M3. I believe that there are more options under the M3. I can tell mine worked because my ambient lighting is purple.

I'm having issues connecting after it connected once. I was able to code the B&W audio and no warning message on the screen at start up.

Re: auto stop/start, you don't have to code it off, you can program it off for both M buttons & once you hit the button to turn it off, it doesn't come back on for any drive mode.

I’m sorry to ask but did you actually check your settings in idrive after coding? Like 5 blink turn signal doesn’t actually make your turn signal blink 5 times, it just gives you that additional setting under your 3 times. You still need to go into idrive and enable it…

Just a thought, as it confused me for a bit too!

This was me too! I thought it just didn't work. Then, one day, there it was in the settings.

Which settings is the blinker under? I've gone through every settings app ( I think) and don't see it.

Exterior lights. Duh! Just kidding. I looked for 10 minutes one day and then did a face-palm.
