Honestly at this point I couldn't even guarantee you'd have one by next summer.

You're going to have to get very lucky (or pay a big premium) to have one this summer.

I was at 150, if that’s is Scheduled for Production.

Looks like you’re about 1 week ahead of schedule. SFP is usually 2 weeks ahead of Production Week (production complete).

It appears the factory has stepped up and is moving swiftly now. Enjoy the ride!

Correction: Production Begins not SFP (Scheduled for Production).

Sorry, I misspoke. I meant Production Begins is 2 weeks ahead of completion. But all the same as that’s where you are.

112 is scheduled for production, 150 is production begins.

If a port installed option is not listed on the BMW tracking website, but the other port option that was added at the same time is, should I be concerned? … all options, including both of the ones recently added, are listed on the physical copy of my build sheet.

It may take a day or two to update if added after you were at 111/112 but otherwise it should be showing when you track your build under the "additional options" dropdown/tab.

You could reach out your CA but may be better to contact the genius hotline (they may be closed for the holiday, not sure).

I've appreciated clicking through this thread and experiencing the order/wait/delivery process through each of you.

This year, I've waffled between the M3, M340i, and M240i...until something clicked.

Yadda yadda yadda, yesterday I called my BMW guy with eyes for an M2 and he said they happened to have an allocation at the ready; now I'm 112 with a Brooklyn Grey six-speed.

There have been worse Father's Day weekends; namely, five years and one day ago on 6.20.18, the day my Father passed away.

Because of him, I fell in love with cars, BMWs, stick shifts, and all things motorsport; because of him, the M2 will be my last ICE vehicle.

A bittersweet day, yesterday; I hope all is well with everyone here and, obviously, I can't wait to join you all as a proud M2 owner.

The first clipped apex will be for Papa ChunkyLover53...

I was previously Scheduled for production and now I am back to Order received 2023. Called BMW Genius and they no longer have a production week for me? What is going on?

Do you have carbon pack? We've heard of this from carbon bucket seat shortages I believe.

That’s been the routine. You’re at the port and will zip thru all the following stages once it gets on a boat, not before. Do you have a ship on the horizon?

I'm #3 on the waiting list at my nearest dealer (waiting to hear back on my number in line with another dealer) and last update I was #9 so things are moving along. I'm guessing I will be up next month or the month after. Planning to go with a black sapphire with black wheels and have not seen one of those yet.

Once I get the allocation then what happens? Assume my build code gets formally submitted, probably have to pay a deposit, etc. I have never bought and built a new BMW before.

I do have the carbon pack. Thank you both!

I am just depressed that it keeps getting delayed when I already sold my car so now sharing a car with my wife isnt super fun.
