Sounds great with just the DPs. And sounds even better with a tune :headbang:

I'm awaiting the catted sound clips/dyno results as well.....and the intake clips/vids too

Thanks Anthony
Only issue with a smog test is every state has different regulations. I would rather not mislead into saying it would pass smog by having it pass here in CA. The downpipes really arn't that hard of an install people blow it out of proportion. Most these people have never even done the install. It takes longer to take the schroud off than to put the DP on. Once you take the shroud off it's two vband clamps, two O2 sensors per pipe, and two exhaust bolts per pipe. We are going to put a much easier DIY togeather in video format.

Couple questions:
How hard is the swap?
And they fit right on to a 100% stock system, just replacing the DP's?

Lastly, for my own benefit, wonder how it'd sound w/ stock exhaust, catless DP's and no resonator (swapped for pipe).

Awesome vid Anthony.

edit: any long term concerns running an 02 sim and a tune? Must it be tuned on the dyno and afterwards, any concerns with the ECM getting a fake signal not knowing how the car's running 02 wise? The 02 sim idea is all new to me. When a tune goes in, it'll be a mild tune (SSTT or JB2 or wait for the cp-e OBD one).
Swap is not hard just time consuming.

Downpipes fit exactly the same way as your OEM downpipes. You will have to do no modding to put them in. They will fit any Stock and aftermarket exhausts with no issues.

I had the downpipes on my 335i with our secondary section. It sounded great. As long as you have that stock suitcase of a muffler on it wont sound much louder than that video. Possibly will make more HP though.

O2 SIM plugs in just like a tune. Very simple install. It works with any tune. However we have worked closely with most tunes such and Procede, Helix, Etc....all of these tunes have a SIM built in already. You just need to get the Riss Racing downpipe map. You will get max power and O2 sim already built into your tune/map. Hope this answers all your questions. Thanks!

+1. Performance gains on downpipes are usually 2X up to 3X the hp/tq than a catback or intake. Completely changes the tone of the vehicle as well. No drone with a stock exhaust but comes with a pure power sound!

Catted DP video will be up as soon as I get a set back. We will have full pics of the final production piece that will look really good! Now that we have our test car we can throw them on the 135i right after I take the pics. I will then do the same sound clips I did here and then send the car over to the dyno. All this will happen the day I get the catted DP back. Should be very soon. Thanks for all the positive comments. I know there is a lot of guys out there with the RR DP. Please take your own videos and post them up with aftermarket exhausts etc. We are also making a catback exhaust for the 135 next week.

I highly doubt they spend twenty minutes to remove the cowl cover open & open the DME to check for an O2 SIM. However its very easy to take off before you go to the dealer. Plug and play.

+1. Only for the pre-order. Once available, they're going to our vendors and pricing will go up.
