Also, any AU ppl know if our cars will have OPF exhausts? Tried to work out based on other G8x threads but couldn’t find a straight answer

I don't believe they will, not yet atleast. The car I saw and heard in Sydney at a local dealer did not.

My G42 doesn't so safe to assume the G87s won't have one either, which is a huge win!! Removing them can be an issue for BMW warranty.

Not yet, still waiting. Is yours on a container then? When are you expecting delivery? And what does your status on the BMW app say?

The dealer said June, which is very soon.
My guess is that it is on its way but haven't asked the dealer.
The App just says, "nearly yours", with no other updates.

Woo hoo! Got an update today from my sales advisor, car is en route to port of departure! Assume this is status 190. Would guess it’s headed to the west coast port - fingers crossed it gets on a boat fairly quickly!!

Congrats fellas - good to see things moving, albeit slowly!

On the Sydney demos - they're stuck at the ports, awaiting clearance. We're looking at another 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately we will have to factor this into the delivery time for our cars. Reckon I'm looking at somewhere in this range: 20 Jul - 10 Aug.

I believe once the ship departs, it's roughly 3 weeks of transit time, plus another 3-4 weeks at the AU ports due to a massive backlog of cars pending clearance.
