Thank you. So far I love it. The more time I’ve spent driving it these past few days the more I think it is a really great car.

Thank you. Very happy the way the car turned out.

Project Z! G87 M2 Build by Felix at Greg's Classic Cars and Performance [MOVED]

Hey guys! Visiting from the F80 forums but I had to showcase this build from my buddy, Felix, who works at a shop called Greg's Classic Cars and Performance in Durham, NC. They just did a build on a new G87 with some world's first parts and thought you guys might enjoy the build! I moved this post from the Regional Section to this builds section as I thought it would be a better fit!

The car is owned by @mtown_nc on instagram.
Photos were done by @919shooter on instagram.
Work done by @balines28 at @Gregsclassiccarsandperformance, both on instagram!

Pulled from their Instagram Page:

After the planning and waiting, Project Z is complete!

@mtown_nc and his son had a vision for this car, our job was to execute it.

After consulting with some of our great vendors we were able to come up with a game plan for the M2 that you see today!

We want to thank everyone that came out to support us this weekend at @cars_and_coffee_morrisville for the unveiling! It went off without a hitch!

Now to the goodies we added to this beast !

- @llumarfilms matte PPF transformation to the glossy Zandoort Blue
- world first CSF Cooling cooled G87 w/ a custom billet intake manifold and heat exchanger
- CarBahn Autoworks stage 1 power controller
- @eventuri_ special edition matte carbon intakes (#7 of 30 in the world)
- @project_gamma ceramic coated downpipes
- @eisenmannexhaust black series race exhaust (custom made by our guys at IND-Distribution)
- @mmrperformance adjustable HAS Kit
- Vorsteiner v-ff 103 series wheels powder coated in Bismark Gold to Match the other Golden Bits on the car (Thank you @vorsteiner.jose for your help with this project on fitment and finish)
- @rogueengineering short shifter kit and @stormmotorwerks weighted shift knob
- and last not least IND-Distribution made this vision complete with their crew working late nights with us to get all these last min touches complete. From the painted reflectors to the matte finished engine cover to match the exterior with the gold lettering. They truly came in clutch !

So all in all, this was a great project for us to be apart of. These are the projects that we live for, we love to be apart of family projects and making dreams and visions into a reality. If you have a project or ideas of something that is on your bucket list to get done to your vehicle. Stop on by and check us out and let’s get a game plan in place to bring it from paper to reality !

From Classics to Modern Cars and everything in between, our skilled technicians are here to bring you perfection!

Those CF pieces behind each wheel make it looks like some sort of Hot Wheels/Matchbox car.

Outside of that, nice build.

Way to go all in. Can’t believe I’m saying this but maybe a wing instead of the spoiler?

It could actually get away with it.

I appreciate it. In hindsight I would have waited on those pieces. However, when they were installed at the port they actually glued them on and we were worried about it might damage the paint to remove them. With the black wheels they were very suspect, but with matte wrap and the new wheels they are marginally better. I can’t disagree with you, I probably wouldn’t add them if I was doing it again. Fair warning for anyone considering them.

They put them on with beta link?! 😬

Probably could still be removed since it’s so new but I’d agree better to just leave well enough alone just in case.
