Using BIMMERCODE On My G87 M2
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I did find some 240i owners talking about them using it on their cars but having to select a different vehicle on the Bimmercode app. And since the G87 isn't an 'officially' supported vehicle on Bimmercode yet, I figured I would try something similar. Since I also own a G80 M3 with iD8 and the G87 is basically the same thing, that's the route I went. Everything worked fine and I recorded this video to help walk through the process. Hope this helps! Happy to answer questions that don't get answered in the video! Last edited by Tuxon_Speed; 06-05-2023 at 12:34 PM.. Reason: spelling |

Cool video, thanks for sharing.
Interesting thing this B&W sound profile. I’m assuming it’s just Equalizer settings? Were you able to get a shot of the before and after of the equalizer screen to compare? |

It gives you these 4 additional sound profiles, and you can still go in and play with the equalizer.

you could do it on the f80s until like 2018
basically its an automatic high beam that selectively dims LEDs to not blind (dazzle) other drivers on the road, but still lighting up everything else. you can run highbeams your whole drive home without annoying anyone. in 2018 the f80 m3 got LCI headlight update, and european and USA headlights were physically different (internal hardware). so you could not code antidazzle on US cars. The G80 with laser lights can be coded for it not sure if its possible in the G42 or G87

Thanks for the video. Some nice tips for a noob like me.
One thing I've been really curious about is if there is a way to change the rear turn signal indicator. In Europe the rear signals are a yellow horizontal line indicator, not the red flasher we get in the US. Heard early on it might be code-able. Anyhow, if anyone knows would appreciate a comment.
