Jb4 - boost redux problem
Hi, i have a G42, M240i so i have a problem with Boost redux 1st gear, it was set to max 43 by default. All other gears is at 0.
I am not sure what is the best and safe for 1st gear because like this i dont have acceleratin in 1st gear, it makes 5sec 0-60 in ani Jb4 map. Can someone please advise on some safe settings. Thanks Last edited by raul99roli; 03-13-2025 at 12:48 PM.. |

you'd need to datalog and see which RPM you need to fix the boost at.
you can contact BMS directly and they can recommend a starting point and even help you reading the datalog

Go here and start by posting a Map 1 log file. You could also opt for a Map 4 log. The difference is Map 1 being an additive boost map (3psi) versus Map 4 being an absolute boost map with a peak target of in this case 20psi.
I've seen several recommendations to go with an absolute boost map on the G42 B58. But they will help you to get whatever you are looking for  https://www.jb4tech.com/forum/model-...ussion/b58-b48
