For anyone that has this Can Do device, can you configure it to change the head up display settings? Every time I select Sport or Sport individual my heads up display settings revert to default instead of remembering my last used setting.

Hello Viffermike! This is 100% abnormal. It can sometimes happen that initial load is a little slower than at other times (on the order of 5 seconds), but interactions should be instantaneous. Please see:



which shows an example of what is to be expected.

Yes, sometimes the car needs time before it's ready to "listen", such as when the display is animating. Engine Start is on the longer side of animations and requires a couple of second, iDrive screens are usually OK with a few hundred milliseconds. I would say the majority of sequences won't require delays.

Note that the device ALWAYS adds a 0.05 delay between Actions.
