Wheel Spacers

Hey all,

Looking to lower my 25’ M240i on some Eibach springs. Curious if anyone has any recommendations on spacer sizes? Looking online I’m seeing a lot of 12mm front w/ 15mm rear. Based on some pics I’ve seen, the 15 in the rear looks like it pokes out a bit- is it just the angle of the photo? I’m not looking to have any poke in the rear. I was thinking about playing it conservative and going 12mm all around, but if the 12/15 setup gives it that aggressiveness without poking out, I’ll for sure go that route! I have the ZTK package so curious what works best with the added fender flares.

Thanks for any recommendations!

839m wheels? Michelin tyres? Different wheels or tyres will change the answer.
For the above: 12mm front, 10 or 12mm on the rear. (I have 10 as I felt 12 was slightly too much).

I’d lower the car and buy one pair of 12mm spacers and then check the effect on front and rear axles. Then you can go up/ down or stay the same size on the remaining axle.

For what it is worth, I put 10/13 on mine. The front is ~ 1/4" from being flush and the rear is ~ 1/8".

Today they installed 12 and 15 and I didn't like it, especially the 15 in the rear, it sticks out too much, I'll go down to 12 in the rear to see or I'll just remove them, without spacers it appears to be a longer car and I like that, even the left rear wheel sticks out more than the right, I'll investigate that.

I installed 13/15 on my G42. I don't have ZTK, so there's probably a difference.

Thanks...general question from a newbie (with respect to spacers anyway!)....

Does the use of these referenced 13mm - 15mm spacers mean one needs extended length wheel bolts or will o.e. bolts still fit/provide appropriate contact/torque reading? TIA

You will needed extended length bolts. They have come with any spacers that I have bought.

12mm on all 4 corners. Could go a little more for both i think but 12mm looks good.

I bought the BMS lightweight set. Most stores don't offer 13mm/15mm.
These came with lightweight extended lugs too.

Do any of the wheel spacer kits with extended bolts come with a key lock?

Don't know, but quite frankly locks are worthless. All they do is to keep the honest, honest.

I agree, only thing a lock is gonna do is piss you off when you need the key and don't have it.

I have always removed my locks whenever they come on the car.
