Hey all - New G87 owner here. Curious what’s the most subtle and easiest to install front lip? Any for $200 or less that can be installed under an hour with simple household tools and just jacking up the front?

The Maxton doesn’t protrude as much, but it has its own challenges. I’ve got both sitting in boxes, ready to try.

I like the idea of a front lip and think it helps with the look of the car. Combined with a modest drop in suspension height (MP HAS), how concerned are you all about scraping at speed bumps, etc.?

Looks nice and minimal but hmm $795… would be much more palatable under $500 :-)

Exactly why I went with the Airflow Dynamics one posted above. If I keep it in one piece long enough maybe I will feel more comfortable spending more on one.

How many new holes have to be drilled to secure the aero dynamics unit?

After lowering not sure how long my current lip is going to last… super happy with looks and durability but may go cheaper when it dies.

It comes with 10 self-tapping screws & uses oem mounting points.

Worth it imo. The price is up there, but the quality of this thing is unmatched. I would have cracked several other splitters by now, but this thing is standing the testament of time.

Lightweight Performance did something special with this piece.

Had the Maxton, scraped on everything…

It got ripped off on the interstate

Bought the AEROFLOWDYNAMICS and it’s perfect, no scraping, looks good and $200

How low is your car compared to stock? Also am I missing something, I don't see a splitter in that picture at all
