FEMTO Unlock

Is their any way to check if my car already has a FEMTO unlock?

It’s a 2022 M240 and I bought it from a Porsche dealership with 9k miles but when I got it, it was already tastefully modded (charge pipe, intake, catback).

Isn’t that just for checking bench unlocks though?

Yes, there are ways with special readers that need to be hooked up to the car (my builder gas the ability). They would know, or at least question what was being done.

You could also check to see if the siftware is up to date and/or auto updates disabled on the iD7.

With the mods you started, it could have been unlocked & tuned, had a piggyback (the most likely between the two) or no tune/piggyback at all and just boltons.

Plugged in a friends MHD adapter and it literally told me “FEMTO Unlock required” but thanks for the help
