Charging timer started early

I’m charging on the granny lead until I get my wall box installed and wanted to set the timer to use the cheap rate electric. Set it to start at 10 and the preconditioning to be ready for 7:15. Now before 10 pm it’s started and then paused several times, very weird.

I beleive setting a departure time with the target overrides the charge-window.

The logic being that if you regularly charge in a time-window, but one day need to ensure you have a full 100% charge for a long journey, it will breach the charge window boundary to ensure you have a full battery for departure time.

Try one night with target set but not the departure time.

That said, this unpredicatble behaviour is why I use the charge timer on my PodPoint unit rather than the BMW app.

I wondered about this but the predicted time for achieving 100% charge was 5:12 am, almost 2 hrs early......
