Anyone with sunroof problems after latest software update?

The latest over-the-air update installed last week and the sunshade portion of the sunroof stopped working that same day. Figuring it could be related to the software update, yesterday I tried reinitializing the sunroof with the process in the manual. The reset failed and now the whole sunroof won't open because it complains that initialization hasn't been successful.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same issue? It may well be just a coincidence and something's stuck or broken in the sunroof, but happening on the same day after the update is a bit suspicious.

You mentioned you reset the sunroof. Is that the same as resetting the iDrive system? Perhaps you could try that?

If you are unsuccessful with all you are trying, you might give the "geniuses" a shot. I imagine there's a good chance they've heard of this and can advise you as to next steps.
