My Modified G87 M2 6SPD / Buckets (HRE wheels, MHC Carbon) build

My Modified M2 6SPD / Buckets (HRE wheels, MHC Carbon)

Hey Everyone! I’m Dray and This is my M2. Previously had a G80 but wanted something a little smaller and prettier.

I know this build is not for everyone and the wheels are quite polarizing, however I wanted to go for a Modern/Vintage approach to pay homage to the E30 M3.

Mod List so far (Jan 2024)

- HRE 501 (21x11 rear 20x10 front)
- KW V3 Coilovers
- MHC/R44 Carbon front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser
- CT Carbon trunk lip painted matched alpine white
- M.A.D single mid pipe and axle back exhaust
- PPF/Tints/Ceramic coat

M Performance parts

- Steering wheel
- Carbon front inlets

Coming soon

- Short shift kit and perhaps a new shorter clutch pedal
- M4 CSL steering tune (even in sport +, I feel the steering should be a little tighter feeling)

I haven’t done any power upgrades as I don’t feel the need to for now.

Night shots taken by blacktiremedia on IG and other shots by KRCAUTO

Enjoy!

Excellent! Very classy look. Like the wheels. And the size of them
Love the night shots. How did you get light on upper part of the car? Natural light with long exposure?

I had the same size setup on my G80 also without issues. The car is low so you just gotta be real careful on driveway and public entrances

Unfortunately no that was disappointing but I live in Arizona so it’s not a real issue haha

Thank you! He used a Nikon. But you can get these types of shots using any DSLR. It’s just a bunch of photos separately lit and combined into one final shot!

Yeah they are not my usual wheel style but really wanted to try a vintage vibe for this car! Thanks

Clean car and clean shots!

Does HRE build a non-step lip in this style? I felt a non-step lip front woulda been better suited to the step lip rear. Woulda kept the faces the same size.
