Is it me or does it look weird in the Brooklyn gray. Not sure light colors suit it. Maybe it will look better in person.

Looks like the purple one is NOT an M240. It has body coloured skirts, round tailpipes and smaller bumper intakes. I wish I could order an M240 that looks like that... I'm not sold on the taillights yet and I hate that it gained weight, but overall I like it. I will buy a manual M2, assuming it sounds great. Hopefully it has not been muted down by new regulations like many other cars.

Thundernight looks great though, definitely my favorite color, reminds me of the E36 days. |

Nice to see the early pics, and thanks for sharing OP.
Looks Subaru BRZish to me, but dare I say, not as nice? Lots of shapes and angles with the front bumper, and I feel like the hood line should be more elegant now that they've had nearly 10 years to figure it out. |

BMW styling has lost its soft timeless elegance and these cars are angular and ugly with just too many ridges and sharp lines that will not age well.

Those taillights are terrible!
It also looks very disproportionate in BG.

I love round looking cars I am digging this even though that squiggly red line through the taillights looks a little weird. Can't wait to see the M2.

Man the front of this car looks so odd. Sunken in headlights that are spaced as far apart as possible. Looks like a flounder.

Cause we're all used to BG in the G80/G82 and the larger grill. Agreed with you that BG is off on this one.

Looks great with that traditional grille. Im not saying its the most beautiful BMW ever but at least its 9875378578698986 times better than MEGA GRILLE

I think it would look good in candy apply red. I also don't understand why every American and Japanese car co have a great metallic candy apple red, but none of the Germans do. |

Such an awkward looking car. They are all nowadays. Bmw the G20 5 is EXACTLY what a bmw should look like. Not this or the g22/ G80/2. There's evolution from old design and departure. This is a very disturbing departure from old design. It's not innovative, it's ugly. Pure and simple.

Not a fan of those front lights at all.
