It's amazing how everyone has the same gripes: weird looking parts, BMW won't sell the big wing, ridiculous strut bar, etc. Great video. Eventually we'll all learn what works best on this Thing.

What was the kit you used to lower it?

Super interesting that the front lip comes in three parts.

I’ve always thought a front lip color match would really tie it up in front but with the understanding it’s actually three parts maybe just color matching the middle blade. Idk

There’s just something about that huge upfront gap between the left and right lower inlets aesthetically that I can’t get over.

Pretty much with all BMWs though, spacers and drop do wonders.

I’m also preferential to alloy wheels I think they look so much better than black, which I feel is a bit overused and tired at this point. With black you don’t get a sense of the wheel angles and complexities the same way you do with the silver or alloy.

I think all the G87 needs on the outside is a nice custom color, tint and being lowered with a set of nice wheels.

Agreed. The aero foils are looking way too racer boy base model wannabe imo

I'd like to see someone mock up the M-performance wing from the M3/M4 on the M2 to see how it looks. Kies motorsports installed one on a f80 M3 and it actually fit really well and I feel like it might fit his M2 as well. Would look kinda similar to the TRE M2 kit render.

The TRE sideskit and front lip also fit this car better than the OEM equipment IMO.

That all said, the wheels and drop on this build definitely clean up the car and make it look 10x nicer.

I just can’t get behind that design, it has no character and it’s too bland. It’s almost like
BMW said let’s design the most basic car we can.

can't believe it but ZB is really growing on me. I'm 100% over the F87 and I loved the F87. I just miss the gauges that's about it.

Who’s going to make some surrounds for the kidney grille? I think that would go a long way to fixing the front end. Nothing thick or over the top, just something to make the nose look less like a cost-cutting exercise.
