A glimpse into what a G87 CS will offer.
WORLD PREMIERE: 2024 BMW M3 CS—543 HP, 0-60 in 3.2 Seconds https://www.bmwblog.com/2023/01/24/2...-m3-cs-543-hp/ “As expected, the M3 CS uses the same ZF eight-speed automatic transmission as the M4 CSL.” “However, unlike the M4 CSL, the M3 CS uses BMW M’s xDrive all-wheel drive system and limited-slip rear diff.” “Even with slightly less power and more weight, the BMW M3 CS might actually be quicker than the M4 CSL in a straight line, due to its added traction.” Last edited by T_U_D; 02-02-2023 at 08:21 AM.. |

I'll believe it when I see it. Regarding recent M cars this would be a first to skip the M2C and go straight to a CS or CSL. There's plenty of time for an M2C to come out well before any CS or CSL variants do and fully expect one to drop in the next year or so.

Does not mean every thing ynguldyn documented is set in stone, as the path forward for this model can change. I certainly hope popular opinion can have an impact on what we ultimately get. I think skipping a Comp model makes sense and make larger allocations available for CS models.

Hell. Maybe I’ll wait for a G87 M2C or G87 M2CS.
Saw an F87 M2CS for sale on Carvana this weekend. $85k. But it was an Auto tranny 👎🏼 Or I could pass BMW altogether and get a used 718 GT4 for $50k over MSRP 🤔 The world is Stoopid rite now… 🫡 |

FYI,
I check the backend on the regular for any info on the G87 Competition or any other G87 variants. Anything new pops up, this forum will be the first to know. |

He is rarely wrong.Sometimes he is and has to update his original info like when he said the N55 would continue on in the original M2 when the M2 Competition was released. He later revised this with the original M2 being replaced by the M2C. |

It would make sense that they trim down their offerings as it's getting to be a lot and somewhat redundant... For instance, they should just have a G80/2 base and then xdrive comp. What's the need for a RWD comp auto? (especially when you can make the Xdrive be RWD via a mode)
