In the garage again, apparently it’s a software issue and needs an update to fix.



The BMW support was awesome though, 10 minutes after the warning this popped up on my dashboard my phone rang and it was BMW assistance to tell me there was a problem and to arrange to get it fixed. Really impressive.

thats great to have but it has it's downsides too.
For example BMW have voice recognition and in some cases/some countries it can look for specific words and report a subversive citizen to local authority
I don't say it is like this but it can be used like that.

I’m sure the Stasi have more efficient ways of tracking us than waiting for a brand new vehicle to malfunction.
