Good afternoon all,

I'm Alex and I just wanted to say hi! I'm ecstatic to say I'm finally in the process of ordering my first M car.

I'm going for:

-An M2 with manual transmission
-Carbon fibre roof
-Individual paint
-Silver wheels
-Red callipers
-Carbon interior trim
-Alcantara steering wheel

I'm currently undecided between Voodoo Blue and Twilight Purple. I'm leaning towards Twilight, as it reminds me a bit of Techno Violet, a colour I used to drool at on E36 M3's when I was a kid!

There is an M3 for sale near me in Twilight purple so I'm planning on going to see it, I've added a photo to my post.

Out of curiosity, if my order went through on Monday, realistically when would you guys say my car would arrive in the UK? I'm not in any hurry. My dealer is saying it'll add 3-4 months on to the normal delivery time, but I'm interested in what people are seeing in practice. I know M2 individual is a relatively new thing and I wonder if it might be different to the Individual lead times on German built cars.

Twilight Purple looks good.

Don't know how long it will take for the car to be made and arrive at your location.

My twilight purple is basically the same build, I gave the dealer a deposit in may, they didnt build it until a couple of weeks ago and it's not made it to the port in mexico yet. I had an allocation in the 2nd batch of individuals but I would have had a normal color 1-2 months ago

Congrats on the order. I placed an order in Ireland start of October for a frozen Grey with a current ETA end of week 17 - might have no significance to your order but at least gives indicative idea

I’m near Carlisle myself and really tempted to a G87 but I’m down for a CS, just not sure it’ll be worth the extra yet.

I’m absolutely torn on colours, like no idea what the hell I would go for!!

You will love the M2, I wonder how they fit on the narrow B roads there. I know other wide sports cars are there.
