Last time I asked was on 8/26 and I was told my purple "Our records indicate your BMW is estimated to begin production during the 42nd week of 2024, which is Oct 14, 2024 - Oct 20, 2024. Please note, these dates are estimates and subject to change."

I called the same day and got week 41. Skyscraper, auto, Carbon package, everything other than active cruise.

Mine is still at factory awaiting carrier assignment so you’re a good ways ahead of me in the process. Also, congrats! Your spec is what I was going for before I fell for SPY.

Following your logic I’ll likely receive mine some time in October as well.

We are the same production week. Mine is coming to NY Port.

From my read of the 2025 threads it seems Grigio goes first, twilght or maybe Java second think twilight though, and last is Vodoo as the order of individual color runs BMW scheduled. Just my read.

Individual colors seem to have designated weeks starting in October running through late November for the first run of the each of the 4 colors.

Thanks for the info! I'm surprised that Voodoo is going last. I would have figured Voodoo would be the highest uptake among all the colors so they would fill up the slots first and start production of it first.

I wonder what port they'll ship the car to. I'm in Phoenix so Mexico is close.

Voodoo here. I called genius last week and they said my build is scheduled for production week 7 2025.

I don’t believe orders are getting “pushed back”, rather just being assigned later production weeks based on when the orders are placed.

Mine is individual and hasn’t changed production weeks since it got originally assigned a confirmed week, that was over a month ago

When I ordered the car I was told my production week is next week, but with the individual color it might be a delay. Sounds like the individual colors aren't locked in for timing and people are getting later and later dates, but maybe not. I'll wait another week or so and call again. I'll see if they give me the same date or if it's now pushed into 2025 as the estimated production date.

That’s my point though, estimated production week doesn’t mean anything, especially with individual paint.

Wait for the CONFIRMED production week and the odds of it changing after that are far less likely.

I’m sure the guy who waited 2 years or whatever for his i4 will chime in here, but his case is extraordinarily unique and I would not advise using his experience as a basis for comparison.

I went status 112 today. Genius told me week 41 last month. I'll have to call and see if it changed. Can't see a production date with the Chrome trick unless I'm missing something.

My M2 was originally scheduled to be delivered in mid december, but my sales guy just told me it got moved to the first week of october, maybe a little bit earlier (the car is scheduled to arrive in Brazil in 09/23). Anyone know which ship they will be using to ship it to Brazil?

Ahhhhhh! That’s the one I ordered about 3 weeks ago…. No progress yet, stuck in the queue….. dealership told me mid November….I just can’t wait to have a manual again….my M3 comp was an amazing vehicle, head turner in Sao Paolo yellow, but missed stick….i could care less about a couple tenths lost 0-60…..

Honestly, feels like BMW has the logistics dialed in and barring any supply chain or factory issues I would target a January production car. Maybe went until Feb production.
