Anything for this?
Anyone find an after market piece to fill this in? (Top picture)
Something like this from an X5 (bottom picture) |

Looks fine to me as-is, the X5 looks like it has cheap styrofoam.

I was looking into 3D printed solutions to use that arm to hold a phone mount.

What would be the point? I ask honestly because you can do everything on your phone through car play/ android auto. Seems like way to much dash clutter to also have your phone up there. Also kind of curious how that space is bothersome do you ride passenger in your car more than you drive it?

I embraced the unfinished looking screen bracket and mounted a repurposed MagSafe phone holder for my radar detector with zip ties. The phone holder came with a magnetic ring with adhesive that’s stuck on the bottom of the Escort.
