No it isn't. It comes as an option or with the Executive or High Executive (Dynamic Executive) versions.

Do you have hardened roads in Sofia (which I think is in Europe???) where you can drive the M3, don't you need an X3 or X5?

In other words: don't bash on a guy who is happy with his car (and should be!), or go figure why you would want to.... Didn't get that tricycle when you where 3 years?

Blame the taxes in certain countries, Finland included.

But anyway nice car and pics. Unique style with those chrome strips.

That's a bit below the belt. It depends on what kind of routes you drive, but for long runs in western Europe, I would rather be in a 318d that an M3. The M3 has a much firmer ride and the SMG gearbox just doesn't do smooth changes. The 318d also has such a huge range that it would probably have arrived at its destination while the M3 was on its second fuel stop.

hi edo! did you find any loss of performance with your type 162 rims on your car. are you using runflats? i changed my 16 inch runflats and rims for conventional 18 inch m5 replicas on my 320i and noticed a slight loss of inital pick up speed. no diff once car is on the move.

Yes got the same difference as you and i feel every bump in the road with those small tyres with 255 instead of 205 :rocks: but hell it looks alot better. And i love the m5 rims do you have the new m5 replica's ?

i wouldnt expect to hear anything less from someone that has not driven a drivelogic 2 smg gearbox

the m3 gives around 7.7l/100km on the motorway so i used to be able to do about 650km with one fuel tank

for long runs id rather be in an edc equipped 7series

nice, clean car!

so a 318i is basically a detuned 320i? sounds like with a simple software upgrade, it'd easily make some more power?

I also add Greece to the countries with expensive luxury cars , I had to buy mine (320i) in Germany in order to get a reasonable price, but then the importing the car was about 6000 euro (due to nav, xenon and other features) so I only gained a couple of thousand euros. Still, maintaining this car here is quite expensive. No sports package either... the potholes are too many even in the suburbs of Athens !

Even if the above were not problem, I would still go for 325, I don't care of the 0-100km thing, I've stoped racing between traffic light since 5 years ago, and the max speed is the same for both cars because of the regulations in each contry. But these cars have something very different, the fuel consumption! The 318, in europe makes a perfect deal if you drive in city center, and a 325/330 is perfect for nice fast long rides out of city. I do both, but mainly out of city, so the choice is clear 320/325, but with the price of gas... 320i ftw! If I wanted a performance car I would buy a nice roadster that would rarely have its rear not spinning!

Dude, your 318 is a great car, even greater if the only difference with 320 is really the software. And it is not only the funds that makes you buy a "non-330", but the actual needs you have. Instead of a 330i, I would buy a Z4 and drift like crazy every weekend.

It's really mature for a 20-year old to call someone else sonny
