Printer opinions? LJ or IJ?

Do laserjets really save any money? Sounds like they can cost almost as much as IJs when it comes time for cartridges.

Any of these sound good?

definitely LaserJet...

I have a networked HP LaserJet 2300 at home.
Don't know how much you print, but for me one black $90 laser jet cartridge lasts 3+ years. (i don't do any color printing)

Printer Ink for InkJet printers is the biggest rip-off there is and with my here-and-there printing i wound end up with alot of dried-up cartridges.

I used a laser jet last 2 years of college. the "starter" toner lasted me through it and i'm still using it now. The printer cost me 50 bucks after rebate. only downside is it's b/w only.

when i was using my canon inkjet, i was changing a cartridge once a month.

I have a hp LJ and it's cartridge has lasted me 3 1/2 years so far and i print a lot of crap for my classes. Although it's a none color one but one time it started to fade while printing, so i just took out the cartridge shook it up for a min and its been going strong for another year so far best printer I've ever owned

oh and the printer cost me like 70bucks from bestbuy so when it does run out of ink I'm just going to toss it out and buy a new one since its cheaper that way lol

laser printer with color.. I was about to buy one from dell.com for about $150 after coupon..but it was way too big for my room..
