so I just got my moto droid and I LOVE it but just curious since iphone's can turn off their 3g to save battery, is there a way to turn off droid 3g? THe only answers I've found are that it automatically turns off if it links with wifi but i can't seem to find a way to turn off 3g manually. Anyone know?

well it turns off automatically when not using the web or other 3g related stuff you can always tell by if the 3g down and up arrows are lighted up.

i was looking around mine and couldn't see anything try a droid forum, but why do you need to manually turn it off when it turns off automatically?
