Pick my tips!
I'm down to 2 different tips. Similar, but slightly different. Black, matte, 2 piece outlet.
Same 4 bolt fastening, polished vs non-polished steel. I want a more flush look with the bumper and these seem shorter. I kinda like #1 more and think the carbon fiber weave (or lack of) may hold up better over time. What do you guys think? |

I personally don't want something that looks carbon fiber, which led me to choose the ones I did. The overall length is a mystery too, but the outer carbon fiber appears to be shorter on the ones I chose vs the secondary option. I want a more flush look and I'm hoping this information will be beneficial to future buyers. |

If you read through the threads, I think i commented at one point that our American chums seem to like their tips sticking out proud. You can see mine at more flush. Last edited by Pentland; 07-06-2024 at 06:46 PM.. |

Feel free to point out a difference. Screenshot the difference. I think we all know it's a crapshoot as to what you'll get....Unless we try them all out.. I'll allow you to be the hero in this situation. Show me the exact dimensions of the tips I ordered on the website. (Carbon Fiber H) https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...yAdapt=glo2usa |

Quick question and apologies if answered already, but I have now purchased a pair with the screw and nut attachment method, and am confused as to where the nut goes.
A lot of the installs seem to have the nut on the outside but looking at how its physically meant to secure, the nut wont be doing anything to hold the screw in if its on the outside. Tightening the nut just gently pries the screw outwards, loosening the grip ? If the nut went on the inside (and bear with me as I haven't put them on the car yet) if there's even room or a gap to screw it with a spanner, but by tightening the nut with it on the inside, the screw pin is held firmly in place pushing inwards onto the pipe. Am I overthinking this ?

Was planning on using Loctite Threadlocker (Blue 242) to secure it in place, and was coating the tips with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light to avoid rust as much as possible (although not sure how well that will hold up to exhaust temperatures)
