So what RORO carrier companies are currently shipping cars from Veracruz to Brunswick for BMW? My car should be wrapping up production soon, and I too want to suffer watching ship trackers.

Does anyone have a ship tracker website that they like best?

No, im sure they use the same parts either way. Thats weird they said it will be installed there? Genius told me before that it gets installed at port. So far Genius is inaccurate. Im lucky im working with the GM of the dealer and he has been on point with every timeline and detail so far. He even said its installed at port and hes done hundreds of orders. So take what genius says with a grain of salt.

BGM MT Options: Carbon Roof, Shadowline, HUD, HAS, CF inlets
Update: still 150, but prod date now shows 4/9. Same build week which matches what genius told me while 111. Definitely getting more excited by the day even though I could have a long wait ahead

Since late February my car was 150, and did not progress until the day it showed for production date, which was 3/19.

Currently status 160, final assembly.

Thank you, that would make sense since my car has been sitting at port in Oxnard for about 8 days now.

I've read so many different timelines and code progressions. I should probably take a deep breath. That's awesome that yours is moving along!

Okay, after 7 1/2 months I'm wrapping this up. The last entry, schlouzon from Texas, takes the record for longest wait. It's been interesting.

HEA is a string of german words. Basically it's a build that BMW makes with a decent number of available options so dealers can demo the new model. None of the big performance options are usually ticked on HEA builds, but many of the tech and comfort conveniences are added.

These builds are in lieu of customer builds that dealers usually see when a model first comes out.

Long winded “demo car” built before car is launched so dealers can have them for launch.

RE: the performance options, unless we’re talking about the “M performance parts” accessories, it’s untrue for the G87, as they were mostly well packaged, without much distinction.
