Exclamation M-Sport / M-Tech bumper to be available in U.S. (parts # and price attached)

Here's a scan of a flyer that was included in the BMW USA's January 2006 monthly statement. :rocks: :rocks:

I wonder if that price is with paint? Probably not. Looks great on SG.

What about the M steering wheel and stick shift? Are those available in the US?

The rear diffuser squares out the rear and I like the look.

I think $600 for a bumper (front or back) is reasonable.

Much agreed. And this is an OEM product so that's a pretty reasonable price; I think it's a bargain. Unfortunately, the look of the bumper doesn't wow me.

I would feel kind of dumb if I bought the carbon fiber splitters and just a few months later BMW decided to release the M-Tech front for the same cost LOL I will be jumping on that rear end as soon as it is released!

Is it just cosmetic? The ad says you can "take the sporty handling...up a notch". I'd imagine the aerodynamic package includes tighter suspension and some other improvements similar to the sport package.

At the NAIAS, they showed a SG 330xi with the M aero kit. The front diffuser lips had a carbon fiber pattern. so did the insert on the rear diffuser. There was a CF spoiler on the trunk too. Style 195, wheels. It was gorgeous. Wish I had my camera at the time, but it was an unplanned trip to the auto show after work. Wish I had pics to show you all. The car was SG on black leather. Poplar trim.

Oh...heh-heh...just read the catalog page posted by original poster. Yeah...the CF splitters and rear diffuser trim that they talk about looks absolutely fabulous. Just sick!

I wonder if we will be able to order this factory installed on a new car at a lower price? Let's hope it is a prelude to release of all the M-sport pack goods, albeit under a different label.

I like the side skirts and the rear bumper, but not really sold on the front...

I think the kit would look much better if it was more like the E60 m-sport package... having the M5 from appearance to it

Thats what some aftermarket company should be making right now. I would buy it in a heartbeat (I hope they are listening...)

Something like this front with the rest of the m-sport kit...

It compliments the lines of the E90 very well IMO...
