BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Thought I’d start a thread of some photos I’ve found online of the new frozen colours on the M2 being frozen portimao blue and frozen pure gray.

Dang..... They look great!

But I know from friends who've had frozen M3s that it's hard to keep them looking good over time.

Fingers crossed for more colors on the 2026!

The frozen colors look great. I just wouldn't want to deal with the headaches of owning them long term though.

The rumor is skyscraper gray will be offered on 2025s. Would skyscraper gray with matte ppf be darker lighter or same as this frozen gray seen here? Might be my plan.

I saw frozen gray in person and thought it looked like primer. The blue is awesome though.

I have skyscraper with stealth XPEL, looks almost identical to that picture. Maybe just very slightly darker but minimal at best.

I feel like going with the standard color and stealth ppf is the best option considering ppf on frozen is pretty much mandatory anyway.

Definitely. Obviously quality of installation matttrs and unlikely they do the inner areas of the door but you could ask. Seams, etc also can be seen very close up.

It’s the smartest way to do it, IMO.

You avoid the headache of long term concerns with Frozen, but are able to use the Stealth to mimic the look. It’s not an exact match, but very close.

That’s what I did with my Alpine White G80. I absolutely love it.

I have a similar color to MW on my car now and was considering stealth ppf but didn’t think it would be noticeable enough on white. Good to hear you are happy with the way yours came out. Of course the protection part is a big plus as well.

To be honest, when the PPF installer put a swatch on the car for me to get an idea, I couldn’t appreciate much of a change, but when the whole car was wrapped it was like “wow.” People certainly do a double take. My wife was totally against PPF initially and when she saw it completed, she said I did good, which is no easy feat! lol When I took it into the dealership the other day, I had a few of the SAs ask me what I did to it because it was a head-turner.

The Stealth really brings out the lines on car because the gloss is muted. Plus, I get the extra benefit of it being “protected.” It’s pricey, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Here’s some photos in different lighting if you’re interested! I definitely think you’d appreciate it on your MW. Drop me a PM if you have any questions!
