From getting the allocation on June 1 to actual production date, completed we were at 18 days.

You're kidding?!! Mine has been at that stage for 4 days and I'm antsy. There are a couple West Coast ships early July I don't want to miss. I'm guessing in your case there are fewer ships going to South America.

That means they’re waiting for a vehicle carrier to arrive at the port. Nothing you can do about it. It’s just timing and luck. Some people wait days in RFT, other people wait over a month.

I have the carbon bucket spec’d and just got pushed out again to week 30, from an original week 18 production.

I know that a bunch of folks with buckets spec’d in the G80/G82 forum have been getting pushed too. It also looks like the carbon buckets are no longer showing up on the configurator for the 2024 M3, but are for the M4. I wonder if it’s a bug with the configurator or if there is something more going on.

Damn that is rough. Week 14-15 the buckets went through no problem I think. My week 17 got pushed to 25 and I expected longer, but it's finally built.

I noticed the opposite around that time - the online configurator could spec buckets on the 2023 M2, but not the M3. My CA told me it was just a bug on the site and he could still spec them despite the shortage.

It has said scheduled for production for a few weeks now. Originally told the car would be produced by June 23rd and then pushed back to July 27th. I haven’t bothered them for an update since but I doubt that’s the date still.
