Mini O2 "catted"bungs

I just watched a review for a 2024 M4 where the guy was running catless downpipes and using some mini "CATTED" O2 bungs. He claims to have driven a couple of thousand miles with zero CELs. These are the items in question

ttp://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html

Has anyone here used these and had any experience with them?

I believe this topic was very briefly touched on before but didn't really go anywhere.

Thanks.

I have used something like this on a Honda and no cel. It is basically a spark plug fouler you screw into the post o2 sensor port and screw in the o2 sensor into the fouler
It tricks the o2 sensor.

are you speaking of the standard o2 bung extensions or the one with an actual honeycomb inside? i had mixed experiences with the mini catted ones, some work, some don't, it all depends on how sensitive your o2 sensor range is with the car. some do too good of a job it makes the ecu think the o2 sensor is broken.

I’ve seen m340 owners try these and they still end up getting a CEL
