Hey guys!

I wanted to make my first post on the forum an introduction. I managed to get a brand new G87 this past Saturday.

I’m not sure of how lucky I got, as I’m brand new to these forums and haven’t don’t much research, but I got it without an allocation and for MSRP!

Anyways, this is my first (actual) BMW, as I’m coming from a 21 Supra 3.0. Dropped the car off today for tint and front PPF.

Do you guys have any recommendations on intakes that maximize sound? I don’t care about performance, since intakes without a tune don’t really provide anything in terms of power. I just want to be able to hear the turbos from inside the cabin. On my Supra, I had an MST intake with the turbo inlet pipe and it sounded glorious.

Grats on the new ride I am looking forward to some responses here on intakes as i am not currently an M2 owner yet but will be ordering a 2025 later this year.

I have MST and enjoy the added sound.
If looks are a priority, you have stuff like Eventuri, $$$.
Some opt for the front mounted versions like RK Tunes. Bit more work and different look. Sound is reportedly quite good.

How loud would you say the intake makes the turbo noises inside the cabin? Is it easily noticeable under hard acceleration?

It was without a doubt a good noticeable whistle with just intakes. Further accentuated after upgrading chargepipe, downpipes, and a tune.

I picked up the MST Intakes and they are great. The sound is nice and loud when you get on it but not obnoxious when just cursing.
