2023 M2 M Performance Exhaust?

Does anyone know what the 2023 M2 M Performance Exhaust entails in terms of looks, sound, etc.? Anyone think it's worth getting?

I have attached links to what I am discussing below.

On the M Performance website, the thumbnail shows a quad-exhaust setup with 2 tails on each side.

https://www.shopbmwusa.com/product/5...EXHAUST-SYSTEM

On Youtube, there are actual models of a quad-exhaust setup but all 4 tails in the center.

No, it's not worth it for the 8K+ price it's at. IMO.

Oh wow. That’s quadruple the price, lol.

1) Is there no way to pick the exhaust currently in the M Performance website?

2) Given your link, does this mean the M Performance website is outdated or not accurate?

Whatever you linked isn't correct for this car. We have seen that with other parts there as well, it's for the previous generation.

Can you please verify? When I go to the website, I select 2023 -> M -> M2 Coupe.
The M2 Coupe is not present for 2024.

I am sure there are plenty of shops in Texas that can do it. You could even reach out to Valvetronic to see if the have an "authorized" shop in your area.

Yes it's wrong currently.

The stacked MPE for the G87 Are not available yet I believe. Doesn't really matter, BMW got greedy on this one. Sure do love the MPE on my F87, but I will never get this set-up!

That is when you pay a reputable shop to install it for you.

You should be able to find a good third party installer locally, if they don’t have an authorized dealer.

Keep the stock muffler and do a midpipe delete, if you care about sound.

I found a video (sorry it's all in Mandarin Chinese), but in short, the Zandfoort blue M2 has an HJS downpipes (doesn't say if it's 200 or 300 CEL) paired with the MP exhaust system (from 9:20). If you looked further into the vid, it is compared with a Black M2 which has the same HJS downpipe but paired with the Akrapovic slip-on system (from 12:40). Surprisingly (to me), the MP setup has a deeper, much fuller tone compared to the Akra setup.

Side by side comparison (from 22:17)

I don't have a good picture of the Exhaust, haven't done many pictures of the back end of the G87. I will say that it is expensive, and if you love the look it is worth it. I had mine port installed and I am very happy with it. It does add deeper and more subtle tones than the standard stock exhaust setup. I have down pipes in my shop now and a resonated midpipe on the way for install this fall. That combo with the look of the MP exhaust is worth it to me.

(Edit: I did have a daytime picture of the exhaust)

Yeah I have it on my 24. Too expensive, yes, but IMO worth it. Much better than the stock and similar aftermarket exhausts.

This sound clip is with OEM downpipes, Evolution Racewerks crossover tube and midpipes. The midpipe and crossover adds a ton of volume - too loud at cold start with the valves open. The mic in my phone doesn’t do the exhaust justice. Cold start with valves open doesn’t sound great, but once warmed up and on the road it sounds fantastic.
